ManyStops

ManyStops beside the other list apps

There are good shopping apps for almost every habit. They range from shared lists to price trackers. This page describes seven of them from their own websites, read in September 2026, and sets ManyStops beside them. Where a site says nothing about something, we say nothing about it either.

Each app here answers a different question about the same shopping.

What matters when you shop at several stores

A list for one store only has to hold the items. A week at several stores asks more of it. The list has to split between the stores. You want to know which stores to go to today, and whether the trip can wait. Your own prices matter at every store, the small ones included. A shared trip raises the question of who owes what. The app also has to work at the back of the store, where there is no signal.

Shared lists

AnyList
A shared list that updates for everyone at once, with recipes from websites and a meal planning calendar. With AnyList Complete you can assign items to stores, give each store its own category order and enter store prices. Its site gives AnyList Complete as $9.99 a year for one person or $14.99 a year for a household. ManyStops or AnyList goes into it in more detail.
Bring!
Shared lists that sync across your devices, with a notice when something is added or bought. You can add local offers from retailers to the list, and there are new recipes every week. It keeps loyalty cards below the list. Its site says the app and its core functions are free.
OurGroceries
A shared list your partner sees at once, even in the store. Items are grouped into grocery aisles by themselves, and recipes add their ingredients to the list. Its site says an upgrade removes the ads, for everyone you share lists with, at about $6 a year.
Listonic
Unlimited lists you can share with anyone, sorted by aisle or however you like. A cost calculator totals the list for your budget. Its site says it is free to use, with a paid version for themes and no ads.

Prices and deals

Flipp
The weekly flyers of stores near you, more than 2,000 stores by its site's count. You can search them, clip coupons and add deals to a list.
Basket
Your list's total at each store near you, from prices its community of shoppers share as they shop.
Groceries Tracker
Photograph a receipt and it builds a history of what you paid at each store. It shows where the things you buy most cost less. Everyone in the house sees the same receipts. Its site says it will never show ads, and it gives the paid version as $5 a month. ManyStops or a price-comparison app sets Flipp and Basket beside ManyStops.

ManyStops

ManyStops is one shared list that knows which of your stores sells each item. It keeps the prices you paid, typed in the aisle or read from a receipt, at any store you walk into. It learns each store's order from the order you pick things up. It works with no signal and catches up later. It carries no ads.

The list, your stores and your prices are free. The decisions come with Plus, and every new account starts with a free trial of it. With Plus, Decide says what each way to do today's stores will likely cost, and when the trip can wait. After a shared trip it splits the cost by what each person uses. Our pricing page has the plans.

Which to choose

If one store covers your week, a shared list is most of what you need, and the four shared lists above are all good at it. If you chase deals at the big chains, Flipp does that job. If you want to know which chain's total is lowest, Basket does. If receipts are how you track spending, Groceries Tracker is built around them. ManyStops is for the week that takes in several stores, including the small ones, when the question is where to go today and whether to go at all.

You can use ManyStops beside any of them. Copy your list as text from the app you use now, and paste it under Import a list in the ManyStops menu.
